Description:

Charter is looking for a mid/senior Angular Developer to help with feature development for their MySpectrum App. They recently made the decision to move to the Ionic Framework which will allow web developers to build cross platform mobile apps and web applications. They are currently using Xamarin, but will be moving away from it around Q3 of 2023. They are open to hiring anyone with Angular developer experience that is willing to work with Xamarin for the short term and Ionic later next year. Mobile IT BE was unstable. Stabilizing Mobile IT now and not doing and new feature projects. Working on Tech Debt now (3 months worth) Learning Angular and Ionic and leveraging Pluralsight – Angular and Ionic Will start transitioning everything that’s not in Angular website (Spectrum.net) and will build pages for that. Charter is building a POC fun app to have developers get up to speed and learn the Ionic platform. Still some feature work for the time being with Xamarin. Optimizing some UI and helping other teams in the meantime Charter will teach the new consultants about Xamarin features, so they will be able to convert over to Angular/Ionic Goal: Q3 to be fully integrated with Ionic. Willing to learn new technologies and excited about it.
