Automatic Guidance Vehicle Mechanic providing maintenance in an automotive manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and repair Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV) and associated electronic, computer and mechanical equipment through use of standard preventive maintenance practices and proper use of industry standard test equipment.
• Ability to repair and maintain electrical equipment according to specifications and instructions as well as ability to read diagrams, sketches, advanced blueprints and operation manuals.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and replace as needed printed circuit boards and electronic components
• Clear collisions and back-up problems of the system, and troubleshoot and correct vehicle and system errors.

Requirements:

• Prefer a minimum of two years’ experience in the maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of basic electricity and electronics
• Ability to read and understand schematics and ladder relay logic
• Understand design techniques in digital electronics
• Perform numerical operations
• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills

Additional Requirements:

• Available to work any shift, to include week-ends.
• Speak, read and write fluent English
• Have a verifiable stable work history
• Successfully complete Chemical screen and thorough background checks to include Criminal History and work history
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Hard working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail
• Safety conscious and able to work well with others
