Independent Materials Testing Laboratories, Inc. has an opening for a Full time Admin Assistant/Receptionist for our office in Plainville, CT.

Job duties include data entry (key boarding), filing, copying, scanning, proposal preparation, answering phones and other general office work as needed.

The right candidate will be dependable with a pleasant phone voice, able to sit or stand for long periods of time and possess the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Strong typing skills (45+ WPM), proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, attention to detail and organization are a must.

Since 1984, IMTL has worked with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors on over 5,000 projects that range from 1,000 to over 500,000 square feet. At any given point in time, our firm is involved with over 1 million square feet of commercial and public building space. Our capabilities and typical projects also include roads and bridges, landfills, towers, and many other types of engineered structures and developments. We are an established Construction Inspection firm and a nationally accredited materials testing laboratory.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
