Job Description for: Accounts Receivable Processor - Corporate
Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Processor is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of Accounts Receivable operations. Responsible for processing and monitoring incoming payments and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. Responsible for updating receivables and maintaining accurate records of all invoices, debits and credits. Responsible for verifying validity of account discrepancies by investigating information from sales, promotions, customer service departments, branches, coworkers and customers. The Accounts Receivable Processor should possess strong communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Posts customer payments, such as ACH’s and EFT, checks and credit card transactions.
- Posts adjustments to accounts by verifying said transactions before entering.
- Verify branches credit card and cash deposits.
- Debit customer’s account for bounced checks and bank corrections.
- Process Refund Checks.
- Takes care of cash sales paperwork from branches.
- Enters Accounts Receivable roll forward from daily reports into excel and notifies supervisor if it does not balance.
- Process sales tax certificate then credit and rebill tax on invoice.
- Open customer’s account for credit, cash and COD Application.
- Process Upstream Rebates.
- Cover switchboard when necessary.
- Strong organization, data entry and math skills.
- Strong ability to analyze information and pay close attention to detail.
- Excellent researching abilities and thoroughness.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Perform any other projects and task as directed.
Abilities and Physical Requirements:
- Knowledge of computers and able to learn internal and appropriate systems to post payments.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
