Job description

We are seeking a top notch Accounts Receivable & Collections Associate to accurately and in a timely manner apply customer cash receipts to appropriate invoices. This includes but is not limited to researching payment discrepancies, processing checks returned for insufficient funds, preparing bank deposits / reconciling bank deposits with cash posted and other accounting / clerical duties as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits Package:

• $25-27/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• High volume business to business collections and maintenance of customer accounts
• Cash applications including ACH/WIRE, checks and credit cards and daily reconciliation of cash receipts
• Research and resolution of disputed balances
• Maintaining assigned accounts aging to meet department and company goals
• Researching payment discrepancies by using all resources and tools available to obtain necessary information to resolve for customer
• Research and process credits and rebills when applicable
• Fraud prevention - Research and analyze potential customer fraud cases to identify and prevent future fraud. Identify fraudulent transactions using various research methods

Position Requirements:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• 2 years minimum accounts receivable / collections and cash application experience
• ERP and Microsoft Office systems knowledge and proficiency

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
