Position Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Mansfield, MA

A leading healthcare system in Philadelphia are looking to add an Account Payable specialist to their team who has the ability to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy and quality. This position is involved in a multitude of accounts payable activities including customer and employee payments, pre-payments to suppliers, and assisting in cash management/treasury functions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices across multiple companies.
• Process invoices and payments that are not included in the normal AP workflow process such as tax payments, commissions, payroll, utilities, leases, trade shows, etc.
• Ensure that all invoices and check requests are properly authorized.
• Ensure that all types of payments are reconciled and approved
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, post invoices to the appropriate inventory or expense accounts.
• Scan all AP invoices and supporting documentations into electronic filing system when vouchering
• Research any posting issues regarding pricing, receipts, account coding, etc. and follow-up with responsible parties.
• Work closely with treasury to determine payment requirements on a weekly basis, running required reports for different payment methods, and initiate domestic and international wires and ACH payments.
• Responsible for arranging foreign currency payments to foreign vendors with third party brokerage firm
• Keep track and maintain recurring vendor payments and schedules.
• Keep track of recording direct debit payments from authorized vendors -scanning, vouchering charges, and closing open invoices from the system
• Responsible for setting up new vendors, updating vendors’ information, and monitoring and closing out vendor pre-payments made by VISA credit card holders
