Position Summary

The Seagate Resort is looking for a candidate to join our Accounting team in our Accounts Payable position. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for verifying and processing invoices, and making payments. This position also maintains all AP files and processes check requests generation through completion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure original documentation, backup and correct codes are completed with authorized signatures for all invoices.
• Process invoice entries into POS system for verification, review, and check/payment generation.
• Verify team member expense reports and process check requests.
• Schedule, prepare and process weekly check requests for disbursement of funds.
• Maintain historical records, vendor information and tax documents.
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts.
• Reconcile statements and payments.
• Handle inquiries, past due invoices, statements and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Ensure company policies, processes, and procedures are clearly defined, updated, and documented
• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities, and colleagues
• Special projects and assignments, as directed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in Accounting, specifically with full cycle A/P
• Multi-company experience strongly preferred
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Good verbal/written communication
• Experience working with Great Plains required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP is required
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, prioritize needs, and effectively manage properties and duties
