A large distribution company with great benefits has an opportunity to join their team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
Compensation: $18/hr to $22/hr depending on experience

Primary Job Function: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company, complies and maintains accounts payables, and adheres to accounting policies and other company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Strong computer skills
- Advanced customer service skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized and ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- 2 plus years of accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
Job Duties:
- Correspond with vendors, maintain vendor files, and facilitates payment of vendors
- Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements
- Receives and verifies expense reports
- Set invoices up for payment
- Enter and upload invoices into the system
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
- Assist with month end closing
- Other duties as assigned
