Are you looking for a new role in Accounting? We are hiring an Accounting Clerk.

Job Purpose:

The Accounting Clerk will support Crossett Inc. by understanding customer needs and their respective job duties.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for compiling invoices, checks and other documents to substantiate business transactions. Accounts Payables and/or Accounts Receivables duties will be assigned as needed.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate would have a high school diploma with 1-3 years of accounting or an associate degree in accounting or a related field.

Other qualifications include above average computer skills, ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy when entering financial data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to communicate well with others.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· All associates have a personal responsibility and accountability to ensure their day-to-day activities adhere to Crossett Inc.’s quality and environmental policies.

· Assist in daily billing of customers for previous day loads and send various end of day reports after billing is done.

· Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices are paid accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Includes scheduling weekly payments and working with members of management to ensure appropriate authorizations are in place.

· Check monthly statements from vendors to be sure there are no outstanding invoices.

· Reconcile credit card statements weekly and monthly ensuring that expenses have required approvals prior to processing for payment.

· Review and process expense reports and receipts submitted by employees on monthly basis

· Order monthly office supplies

· Analysis company spend to ensure company resources are being utilized in the most efficient manner

· Perform daily bank deposit

Serve as a backup on duties of the other accounting clerk

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
