Job Title: Accountant Assistant

Department: Accounting

Reports to: Controller

Prepared Date: June 2022

Position Summary: An Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting the controller with general accounting activities involving Mont du Lac Resort, and the Trophy Café. Their duties include day to day AR, reconciling bank records, payroll, and AP processing.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of recurring accounting activities and payroll
• Maintaining monthly reconciliations
• Process daily sales for business locations
• Assist Controller in budgeting, projects, and reporting
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
• Additional duties as needed per Controller or GM

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Office Suite and QuickBooks software
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices and standards
• Professional manner and a strong ethical code
• Ability to multitask
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
• Must pass a background check

Physical Requirements & Demands:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer with repeated keyboarding.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $21.00/hour.
