About us

This is a direct hire opportunity for an installation technician in our Advanced Systems division.

Our labor rate ranges from $22/ hr to $25/ hr, depending on your skills, how quickly you learn, and meeting the team's production level.

Previous experience that would benefit candidates are Access Control, electrical, security or property maintenance, structured cabling & wiring of spaces.

The tasks to be performed:

• Install access control low voltage cables, Cat 6, 18/2 cable
• Install door hardware, including strikes, mag locks, automatic closers, readers, and door handles
• Travel 80% of the time.
• Travel to job sites out of state.
• Leaving each space cleaner than when you arrived, key metric #1. Leaving a workspace a mess is not acceptable -even on day one
• Entering daily notes in our App for your work completed and any issues you encountered
• Communicating with your field supervisor
• Arriving on time every day, ready to work and be a part of the team
• Wearing a face mask, gloves, and shoe covers at all times while on property

Some requirements to perform this type of work:

• Can stand, stoop, squat, walk, and climb stairs up and down for an entire workday
• Moving at a swift pace for the day. Your team will move steadily; you will have to do the same.
• Understanding blueprints, and design drawings, including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable supports
• Will be working outdoors at times to move between units or spaces of work.
• Comfortable on ladders
• Proper use of essential power tools, a drill, electric screwdriver, Dremel, and so forth
• Good use and has their basic hand tools - screwdrivers, cutters, knives, bubble level, misc. items
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
