Beacon Academy is currently seeking a hard-working and passionate educator to join our team as a 2nd Grade Teacher.

The 2nd Grade Teacher will be developed, supported, and guided by the Principal and Executive Director. The 2nd Grade Teacher’s major responsibilities are:

Implement curriculum and activities to meet the academic standards, participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade- level activities, and school wide functions. Be accountable for student’s achievement of academic standards; communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Effectively implement Responsive Classroom techniques. Candidates for this position should have strong leadership, organizational, communication and decision-making skills; and the ability to identify learning challenges, analyze, process, and make judgements with the sensitivity that is necessary to lead and coordinate programs for students

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,600.00 - $60,600.00 per year
