The Case Manager will provide guidance and supportive services informed by positive youth development and motivational interviewing practices to assigned program participants.
Job Duties:
- Refer assigned program participants to community-based organizations (e.g. housing services, long-term counseling, child-care, substance use counseling, mental health counseling, legal support services) to reduce potential barrier to employment and overall engagement in program services.
- Works with other Workforce Development case managers to maintain and update agency’s resource/referral directory.
- Demonstrated experience working with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation and varying physical and learning abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least two years of counseling experience required.
- Knowledge and experience of young adults’ development required.
