Accredo Packaging, Inc. manufactures and supplies sustainable high value added, flexible packaging, predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We achieve state of the art, environmentally responsible, flexible packaging conversions by combining the best people in the industry with the latest available technologies. We are currently seeking a Yard Mule Driver for our Sugar Land, Texas facility.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Pickup and delivery of invetory from warehouse to warehouse utilizing the company's yard mule and other heavy equipment.
• Loading and unloading inventory; conduct pre and post-trip inspections.
• Pull, transport, load, and discharge inventor using standard equipment sucha as forklift/ hand pallet truck.
• Sign/date/completely fill out any required paperwork for each load.
• Maintain quality in the warehouse, keep track of all damaged inventory, and report quality issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow material flow requirements for the plant.
• Able to efficiently carry out all orders of the Supervisors.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous yard mule experience in a fast pace enbironment with at least 10 years of driving experience
• Must have a drivers's license, CDL preferred but not required. Good driving record.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read numbers and labels understand verbal and written instructions, effectively communicate in writing and verbaly to observe safety precautions.
• Ability to use hands to touch, handle and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed.

Working Conditions: While performing the duties of the job the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
