Position Summary:
Customer service-oriented support for wholesale account needs. Ensure all operational and logistical deadlines are met. Work with wholesale team in developing strategies to increase existing account sales and identify new sales opportunities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Support all aspects of accounts needs, working independently and collaboratively with internal teams
  • Present the product line to buyers at market appointments; tradeshows. Sell and recommend product mix by account
  • Manage account sales from start to finish in order to meet and exceed sales targets (processing orders, tracking orders on internal systems, making sure deliveries are on time, resolving order issues as needed)
  • Ensure timely receipt of order confirmations; provide tracking of shipments
  • Work with production to facilitate sample distribution to accounts for advertising needs
  • Develop relationships with clients, assisting and servicing each account
  • Manage accounts with sound judgement and discretion in line MacKenzie-Childs guidelines to ensure general business operations/protocols are being met
  • Provide sales feedback and attend Atlanta Market twice a year, provide assistance in pre-market preparations
  • Work hand in hand with Department Manager and regional sales representative to further penetrate assigned accounts

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Data entry experience.

  • Occasional travel

  • Computer proficiency includes word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and generating reports using standard software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to details and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and data files.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Equipment Used: *
Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, and calculator.
Computer Software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and NuOrder.

Physical and Mental Requirements: *

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.

Environmental Conditions:
Work is performed in a typical office environment where there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
