Job description
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a highly skilled web and mobile application penetration tester to join our team on an as-needed basis for overflow coverage. As a contractor, you will work remotely and be responsible for conducting security assessments on our clients' web applications and mobile apps.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications and mobile apps to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities and providing recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance on secure coding practices and remediation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques
Requirements
Preferred Experience & Ambition:
- At least 3-years of experience in web application and mobile app penetration testing
- Strong understanding of web application and mobile app security principles and common vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with common penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Metasploit
- Experience with manual testing techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
