At WAXIE, distribution is the heart of what we do. Each of our warehouses carry a full stock of sanitary supplies and janitorial equipment to quickly and efficiently meet our customer’s needs. This wouldn’t be possible without our “behind the scenes” warehouse crew, committed to sustaining a safe and harmonious day-to-day operation. Led by a Warehouse Manager, our team ensures inventory is properly received, distributed, and shipped to our customers- the WAXIE way!
Scheduled hours for this position are 10am - 7pm, Monday through Friday with the potential for overtime.
Essential Duties:
- Load and unload common carrier freight and WAXIE delivery trucks.
- Receive and unload vendor deliveries per WAXIE guidelines.
- Put product away in designated areas using RF devices.
- Maintain accurate inventory and product labeling.
- Work as team to build and shrink wrap safe and transportable pallets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift 10-50 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to accurately utilize basic math skills.
- Ability to use handheld devices and WMS.
- Ability to have communication good verbal skills and email etiquette.
- Ability to operate MHE. (sit-down & cherry picker)
- Checking in drivers upon returning to the warehouse.
- Reviewing all invoices are clear and legible at point of check in.
- Reviewing all cases and product counts to be correct at point of check in.
- Maintaining logs, spread sheets of all orders and routes daily.
- Maintaining ‘’ Go Again’’’ area daily, ensure all product is in the accurate location and labeled properly during put away process.
- Putting all RTS products away daily, keeping 5S area clean.
- Other duties assigned if needed due to business needs.
- Open to be cross trained in different departments.
This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program.
Pay Range: $15.54 - 21.04
The compensation range reflects the Company’s current grade for this role and reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
