Greco and Sons, is a food distribution company located in Bartlett, IL. We remain open as an essential business to provide food to our local grocery stores, restaurants, deli's and other food service businesses. Our warehouse is seeking experienced individuals that have previous order selecting experience, order selection in a food distribution warehouse is preferred.

Status: Full Time

• Shift: Sunday - Friday
• Sunday: 4:00 PM start
• Monday: 5:00 PM start
• Tuesday: 6:00 PM start
• Wednesday: 5:00 PM start
• Thursday: 5:00 PM start
• Friday: 5:00 PM start

Pick and load various items from warehouse, coolers and freezer to prepare and assemble customer orders. Arrange items on a pallet to prepare for loading & shipping. Will manually handle products and use material handling equipment, including walkie riders, pallet jacks and forklift equipment.

Job Duties:

• Perform general physical activities in a warehouse, including loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually

• Read invoices, work orders and item quantities to assemble orders on pallets

• Pull products and items from warehouse racks

• Utilize powered industrial trucks, including walkie riders, forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise

• Transport filled orders throughout the warehouse to shipping assembling areas

• Report any damaged goods, notify management of quality issues or of any items that are low in stock or out of stock

• Perform general warehouse cleaning duties

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School, GED or equivalent diploma

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to safely operate equipment for handling material, such as pallet jacks and other equipment

• Frequently lift products weighing between 50-60 lbs. without assistance, and 75lbs or more occasionally. This includes bending, twisting, and kneeling to reach product

• Must be able to stand and stay active for most of the shift
