Doggie Style Pets looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

We have been providing quality pet products, healthy foods, and friendly service to Philadelphians for over 17 years. We have since grown to eight Stores in Philadelphia, one store in Narberth, PA, New Jersey, and one store in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include:

• Using real-time data collection to increase accuracy and lower labor costs
• Maintaining computerized administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems
• Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out
• Enforcing safety and security procedures
• Enforcing company rules and regulations
• Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring production performance
• Communicating and interacting with clients, vendors, suppliers and customers
• Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations
• Meeting regularly with warehouse leads to assess, analyze and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity.
• Performing general maintenance of the machinery used in the warehouse
• Maintain an accurate warehouse inventory
• Driving a company vehicle

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• A valid drivers license with an excellent driving record
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
