***The hours for this position are 3pm-3am, 4 day work week***
Responsibilities:

Parts Authority, LLC. is hiring an Warehouse Inbound Manager who will be responsible for all of the aspects of warehousing and distribution in our brand-new innovative 200,000 square foot warehouse. The Outbound Manager should have knowledge and/or experience in automation, robotic systems and order processing.

The Warehouse Inbound Manager reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will be responsible for all the inbound activity within the warehouse. This person will manage 8-10 direct reports and lead all aspects of 80-100 team members. To succeed as a Warehouse In-bound Manager you must be able to maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency and culture of customer service within the outbound departments of the warehouse.


  • Receive, analyze and react to daily status reports across all inbound distribution center functional areas.
  • Review departmental and individual metrics to identify and improve performance.
  • Adjust, analyze and audit processes seeking increases in both efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure receiving processes are being carried out efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate purchase order reconciliation and analyze causes for receiving overages and shortages.
  • Work with purchasing to develop and implement procedures for unloading orders from vendors and stocking them on our shelves.
  • Ensure trucks/trailers are efficiently and accurately unloaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives.
  • Ensure dock to stock for most lines with a target of less than 24 hours.
  • Formulate and enforce stocking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.
  • Ensure that inventory is accurately stocked, in a timely fashion, to fulfill our customer’s needs.

Staff Management:

  • Lead and supervise a team of departmental supervisors.
  • Adjust staffing across multi-functional platforms when timelines are in jeopardy and plan staffing/workflow according to multifaceted market changes.


Lead all aspects of Inbound Operations:

  • Review and maintain departmental budgets, control operating expenses and project future expenditures based on fluctuations in activity (as vital).
  • Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards
  • Maintain 5S warehouse principles are coordinated and followed on a routine basis
  • Frequently connect with warehouse and executive level management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Technical Skills
  • Experience with automation & robotic systems and order processing, WMS/ inventory management systems, RF technology, conveyor technology and shipping software. *** Geek+, AutoStore are a plus
  • Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to develop summary graphs, tables, pivot tables, and other reports using PowerPoint, Excel (V-Lookups) and Word.
  • Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and high volume, time sensitive distribution required.
  • Experience in internet e-fulfillment is a required
  • Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferred, required upon hire
  • Knowledge of automotive parts preferred
  • Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc)
  • High School Diploma required
