MVP Disc Sports is a sporting goods company in Marlette, Michigan. We are growing rapidly and looking to make a big impact on a young sport called disc golf with continued innovation in our products and excellence in our customer service.
We are a wholesale supplier for disc golf stores around the world. We're hiring for a Lapeer Warehouse Associate position to serve our growing customer base. Our Lapeer team works from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position would be located at our Lapeer Warehouse with eventual relocation to Marlette.
Some responsibilities of these positions include:
- Fulfilling wholesale orders by pulling products off the shelf, packing, and shipping.
- Coordinating shipping logistics with shipping providers to ensure customers receive their orders on time.
- Palletizing customer orders and freight shipments.
- Unloading shipments and checking in products
- Operating a fork lift and motorized pallet jacks.
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts and updating inventory records.
- Sorting products according to organizational standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Lifting heavy objects.
- Other general warehouse tasks and projects.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Able to stand/walk the duration of a shift
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Familiar with inventory
