JCH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to own a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse and assisting the shop manager.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

• You will learn all aspects of unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams under supervision of site leadership
• Maintain a safe and productive environment to exceed customer expectations
• Handle the movement of pallets around the warehouse, on and off trailers and other vehicles manually or with site equipment, which include pallet jacks or forklifts.

Major Job Functions

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, quality and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain tools, move, store, and replenish material, and conduct inventory counts, when requested.
• Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Assists walk in customers with loading and unloading materials following proper documentation protocols
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules
• Operates forklift and/or crane equipment.
• Operate a pallet jack
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Assists other shop mechanics and field personnel when required
• Running parts/equipment to customer facilities as needed

Education and Knowledge:

High School diploma or equivalent experience; forklift experience
Clean driving record and subject to random drug testing
1 or more years previous warehouse experience.

Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, detail oriented, fluency in English, and safety conscious.
