ABOUT THE CLUB
Minnesota Aurora FC is a community-owned women’s soccer team based in the Twin Cities with
more than 3000 community owners across 48 states and eight countries. It played in the inaugural
season of the pre-professional USL W League starting and featuring the best amateur and aspiring
pro players from Minnesota and across the globe. The club is operated by its nine founding owners,
an all female coaching staff, and a small office staff.
The Vice President of Sponsorships & Sales for Minnesota Aurora FC is a full-time position located
in the metropolitan Minneapolis/Saint Paul area.

The Vice President of Sponsorships & Sales for Minnesota Aurora FC is a full-time position located

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish sponsor budgets and goals for the season
- Ensure that the rate card and sponsor presentations are created, updated, and reviewed regularly
- Lead sponsor presentations, meetings, and relationship-building
- Establish clearly defined goals for each partner relationship, and update and maintain proper reporting metrics
- Maintain positive relationships with all clients/partners to guarantee full contract execution, problem solving when needed, and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with Aurora staff, vendors, sponsors, property staff, and others to ensure implementation of sponsorships and contract fulfillment
- Work with accounting to make sure all sponsors are billed in a timely manner and are up to date on payments
- Provide timely and accurate recaps to partners for renewals including full analytics and
value of partnership - Manage a select CRM process to track activity for sales initiatives
- Establish ticketing strategies, pricing, budgets, and goals for the season
- Staff, lead, and operate a functional box office for all ticketed events, including financial reconciliation and tracking of all ticketing revenue
- Attend all home games and other Aurora events as needed as the primary point of contact
- Manage and supervise staff to execute deliverables as needed
- Collaborate productively with other departments, staffs, and work teams, and attend all home games and other relevant events
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated success and experience selling comprehensive marketing partnerships including major media elements (signage, event activation, social, digital, etc.)
- Ability to analyze a client’s traditional, digital and non-traditional marketing needs based on the customer’s marketing targets and objectives, and craft an integrated marketing solution(s) to meet those needs
- Advanced negotiating skills, ability to identify and influence key decision makers
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Driven to succeed and able to overcome obstacles
- Ability to adapt your style/messaging to the needs of the client
- Ability to quickly establish personal relationships through trust and empathy
- Ability to lift and carry packages, to walk distances and to drive a vehicle. Work environment is a mixture of office settings and outdoor environments
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time, in person employment position with a salary of $80k plus commission for new
sponsors, renewals and bonuses for ticket sales.
