Mount Airy Veterinary Associates is a well-established small animal general practice located in beautiful Mount Airy, Maryland. Our bright and airy clinic has been a staple in the community for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in exceptional client and patient care. We have a phenomenal client base and hope to continue to grow with future community involvement. Our patients include dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other pocket pets!

Requirements

• 2+ years veterinary experience
• Client communication and education (excellent written and verbal skills)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to decipher medical records
• Venipuncture (jugular, cephalic, medial/lateral saphenous)
• Running in-house lab work
• I.V catheter placement (preferred, but not required)
• Processing reference lab samples
• Understanding of veterinary pharmacology
• Evenings, and rotating Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
