Veterinary Technician Assistant
Job description
Upper Marlboro Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our growing start up practice. The successful candidate will work in a well-maintained environment and be expected to assist with advanced diagnostics and treatments. Essential duties include patient anesthesia, drug dosage calculation and administration, laboratory diagnostics, and management of critically ill patients. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a veterinary practice as a technician, hospital experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as multi-tasking ability. Must be organized, honest, reliable, flexible, independent and have the proven ability to work with pets. Able to work on Saturdays, we are closed on Sundays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
