Cross Winds Animal Clinic is looking to add a ROCK STAR Veterinary receptionist to our team!

Full time receptionist wanted for a busy 6 doctor veterinary clinic! Set schedule allows you to balance work and home life. Saturdays are required, but we are only open until noon.

Our ideal candidate would have prior experience working in a veterinary practice, or at least 2 years of customer service experience. Knowledge of Avimark Veterinary Software, and clients and patients are your number one priority. Looking for a rock star in the veterinary field, and a desire to grow!

Cross Winds Animal Clinic is a very busy practice. Excellent phone, time management, schedule management, computer, and people skills are a must.

The position duties include: taking client calls, relaying messages to and from doctors and other staff members, scheduling appointments, taking payment for services and purchases, checking in appointments and getting patients placed in exam rooms in a timely manner, scheduling surgical procedures, answering client questions and many other duties as needed to provide excellent patient and client care.

We are seeking a friendly, upbeat and thorough person who can help us continue to provide the high level of customer service that we pride ourselves on. Critical thinking is important in this position, as there are some scenarios that need to be determined while on the phone (such as a pet emergency, whether or not to come in immediately).

Additionally, we need a person with a great track record for attendance and punctuality.

You will be exposed to sick or injured pets, blood, feces, urine, vomit, drool, cleaning chemicals and stressful situations.

Pay is commensurate with experience but starts at no less than $14.00/hr. Prior veterinary experience would qualify a higher starting rate. Health, vision, dental and life insurance are available. Paid sick and personal pet discounts are available.

Located S.E. corner of Higley and Elliot in Gilbert, AZ.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
