G5 Utilities, LLC is a growing underground utilities company specializing in commercial and municipal projects. We install water, wastewater, storm drain, and dry utilities throughout Central Texas. We are seeking a project manager/estimator with a minimum of 3 years of experience. We provide competitive wages and benefits package.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue bid opportunities for construction related projects.
• Prepare change orders, quotes, assist in estimating, perform bid analysis on each bid completed. Coordinate bid reviews with operations.
• Perform advanced takeoffs, read and interpret plans, proposals, and other documentation to create bids.
• Coordinate and insure complete and appropriate communication to all project stakeholders throughout each project, including regular status reports, updating bid board, accurate and detailed bid presentations and assist with RFQ’s and Contractor Licensing.
• Help to build and maintain relationships with contractors and customers.
• Develop pricing throughout all phases of the design process and be able to convert budgets into a final bid product.
• Issue and track RFI’s and change orders.
• Keep field and office staff up to date on changes.
• Oversee materials submittals and procurement.
• Attend project meetings as required.
• Track costs for each project

Skills and Abilities:

• Exceptional Excel skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of electrical construction bid processes.
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills, set timelines and assist in coordinating pricing.
• Possesses strong abilities to multitask and adjust work efforts as needed.
• Proficient understanding of construction processes.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bid Software

Salary Range:

• $60,000 – $85,000 plus bonuses (dependent upon experience)
