Job Description

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist General ab/ob small parts

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist to join our team in Grand Forks, ND. In this role, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, including general, abdominal, obstetric, and small parts. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will use your knowledge and skills to produce high-quality images that help diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct ultrasound exams on patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by performing a clinical history, explaining the procedure, and answering any questions.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
• Assist radiologists in the diagnosis and interpretation of ultrasound images.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain infection control measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in ultrasound technology or a related field.
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• At least one year of experience in performing general, abdominal, obstetric, and small parts ultrasound procedures.
• Familiarity with a variety of ultrasound equipment and technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
• Willingness to perform other tasks as assigned by management.
