Ultra Sound Supervisor

New York Imaging is looking for a highly motivated Ultrasound Supervisor to oversee our growing team of sonographers

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for the daily operation of multiple ultrasound locations.
• Carefully follow and understand all company policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for maintaining and or applying for site appropriate accreditation. Experience with ACR a plus.
• Assist director with ensuring appropriate staffing for all locations.
• Schedule personnel to assure quality patient care.
• Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform and document maintenance on all ultrasound machines and other associated equipment.
• Assure that all emergent tests are performed in an expedited manner.
• Assist providers with all outpatient related procedures/biopsies.
• Responsible for training new staff in all exams performed.
• Assist director with employee performance appraisals.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills.
• Working knowledge of all basic computer applications.

We require:

• The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
• ARDMS (AB) and RVT certifications required. RCDS (AE) certification preferred.
• Bachelors/Associates Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant supervisor/lead experience.
• Must be willing to travel.

Hours: Monday–Friday Salary up to $60 per hour.
