Tetra Tech Infrastructure Northeast (INE) is seeking a senior technical leader to join our full-service transportation planning and design group primarily serving the New England states, with occasional specialized assistance to Tetra Tech projects nation-wide and world-wide. Our practice is focused upon both public and private projects ranging from routine transportation solutions to intermodal mega-projects and design-build delivery. Our New England transportation group has a long and successful history of delivering complex, innovative, and successful award-winning projects. The selected candidate will play an immediate role in helping to lead the group to continued success and growth.
The INE Transportation Group is centered in Marlborough, MA with offices in Boston and Mansfield. The position offers flexibility of remote working/in-office hours and locations.
Your Role:
- Direct and manage a variety of transportation planning/engineering projects
- Client/program management
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff members and assist in recruiting
- Actively participate in business development, proposal targeting and preparation, and project teaming arrangements
- Contribute to the development of long-term growth and business plans
- Deliver presentations and testimony for public involvement/outreach and hearings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 20 years of diverse transportation planning and design experience with specialty in traffic engineering
- Proven leadership, team management, and project management capabilities
- High comfort working in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative atmosphere
- Familiarity with MassDOT design and permitting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a certified engineering program and master’s degree or advanced studies in transportation and traffic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PE required, PTOE preferred
