Louisiana Christian University is seeking applicants for a Registration Assistant. The Registration Assistant participates in the activities of the Registrar’s Office ensuring the functions are performed accurately, expeditiously, and confidentially. Main duties include: assisting with registration and grade processing; maintaining and updating student files; and responding to transcript requests from students, former students, employees, and other institutions of higher learning.

Skills and Education Required: Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Secretarial and clerical skills required, including typing correspondence and reports, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office files. Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and e-mail. High School diploma or equivalent required. Two year College degree or Technical College in a business related field preferred.

Louisiana Christian University is a private, Baptist, coeducational college of liberal arts and sciences with selected professional programs, located in Pineville, Louisiana. The University was founded in 1906 and is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Louisiana Baptist Convention. It has an average enrollment of about 1,200 students and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
