Job description
The Organizational Development team is looking to hire a training specialist that will have a focus on assisting with the facilitation and coordination of leadership level development programs and learning resources. You will have an opportunity to work with other department professionals on an interpersonal level and will collaborate with other members of the organizational development team to assist with leadership learning programs and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
· Proficiency in database software
· Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
· Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
· Adequate knowledge of learning management software
· Comfort using virtual communication platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
· Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required
· BS degree in training, education, Business Management, Human Resources or related field required
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Obtain and maintain Pala Gaming License
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Develop the production of learning resources and its content, which may include handouts, aids, manuals, learning videos
· Contribute to the instruction and presentation of training courses, in-person or online and assess how effectively different methods and materials are at encouraging interaction and participation
· Research learning materials and methods
· Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they reflect changes congruent to
· Manage learning library
· Stay aware of the new trends and tools in talent development
· Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into Team Member work behavior
· Assist with the monitoring of results from delivered development programs
· Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes within the organization
· Build content including learning paths within an online learning platform
· Help to create engagement with current and past learners
· Prepare learning locations by ensuring all tools, technical equipment and resources are available and ready to effectively teach the course
· Oversee general administrative duties such as coordinating enrollment, scheduling class times and locations and sending invitation information to all learning attendees
· Assist with the scheduling and organization of enrollment for various development programs
· Other duties as needed
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
· The person in this position needs to regularly move about to different locations around the company for meetings and to conduct learning events.
