Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Automotive Business Unit, this position will participate in production test development and maintenance of OPAL-RT HIL deliverables.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for unitary and integration testing of OPAL-RT boards as well as external vendor boards;

• Management of technical conformance with suppliers;

• Repair defective cards;

• Application of PMBs;

• Participate in the management of the priorities of the cards to be tested;

• Participate in the writing of test procedures and their maintenance;

• Assist in the maintenance of firmware and model repositories for the power testbed products.

• Prepare and update VISIO and other schematics to help with test-bench assembly.
• Any other task necessary for the proper functioning of the department.

Requirements :

• Education: Diploma in industrial engineering, industrial electronics or other relevant training;

• Experience: 3+ years in a production or integration department;

• Knowledge required: MS Office, Visio. Knowledge of electrical safety codes.

• Language abilities: English required

• Soft skills: Organization, rigor and determination, autonomy, good interpersonal communication, judgment, analytical skills and ability to adapt.

Assets:

• Knowledge in FPGA design, including the use of the Xilinx/Matlab XSG suite, an asset.

• Technical knowledge: Products in the voltage range (120-1500V), current range (15-600A), motor control, power converters. Knowledge of low voltage DC and AC equipment.
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and Labview/Veristand for test bench model development.
