As a manufacturing test engineer you will be responsible for both developing and supporting the manufacturing test infrastructure used at our global manufacturing facilities.


The job will require you to work with our multiple internal teams to develop, and qualify innovative manufacturing test solutions for our RF products within a Labview/Teststand/Python environment.


You will also be responsible for resolving manufacturing test issues in the factory as they arise to ensure on time delivery of products to our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop test software within a Labview/Teststand/Python environment for integration into our manufacturing test software libraries, and product manufacturing test sequences.
  • Work alongside our Hardware Design Engineering teams, review schematics and assembly drawings to define the manufacturing test strategy, and infrastructure to be implemented.
  • Support Manufacturing Test Operations at our global manufacturing facilities
  • Identify opportunities to improve the production test flow and test processes to reduce both cost and time to market.
  • document and maintain test processes per established policy and procedure in an ISO9001/TL9000-driven environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from accredited four year college or university in Engineering.
  • 3-7 years’ manufacturing test software development experience using Labview or Python (Minimum 3 years’ experience).
  • Experience in the use of instrumentation within an automated test environment to test RF electronic assemblies and products is essential. Instrumentation currently being used includes Spectrum Analyzers, DC Loads, RFSG, RFSA and Data Acquisition hardware
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required to analyze and resolve hardware, software, product, and instrumentation issues.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
