Job description
This position has a full salary range of $61,000 - $95,000 per year with eligibility for an annual bonus. Starting salary is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience and performance.
Who We Are:
We partner with brands in the natural / organic food and beverage industry to optimize their retail presence in the Natural and Organic retail space.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will drive growth for a portfolio of approximately 30 Organic/Natural Food and Beverage brands.
- You will work Monday through Friday and drive approximately 10,000 miles per year servicing retailers in the northeast region.
- In addition to independent retailers, you will be assigned to 2 – 5 retail groups or regional chain headquarters.
- You will be responsible for all aspects of work in relationship to assigned headquarter accounts, including but not limited to distribution, promotional administrative work, securing appointments, and driving incremental sales for the brands in your portfolio.
- You will build and nurture strategic relationships with retailers in your designated area as well as your assigned headquarter accounts.
- You will present new items and lead successful sales initiatives on behalf of our partner brands.
- You will complete needed follow ups for each retailer which includes, turnovers, emailing sell sheets, coordinating samples and necessary follow up for each brand.
- You will participate in client meetings and give updates on agreed upon KPI’s as requested by Sales Managers.
- You will schedule and attend meetings to support the growth of clients as assigned.
- You will be in charge of maintaining a current contact list of all retailers in your assigned territory.
- Our ideal candidate would have 2 - 4 years of sales experience with existing relationships in the natural, specialty and independent retail space. It would be beneficial to have a working knowledge of UNFI /
- KEHE / DPI and other regionally based distribution companies.
