Job Description
The Recruiting Quality Control position shall be responsible for supporting the Recruiting Office in implementing the staff’s overall recruiting strategy and will be a multi-use resource. This person will have a variety of tasks including but not limited to management of offensive and defensive recruiting boards, evaluating recruiting film, assisting with on-campus recruiting events, and other tasks at the discretion of the recruiting staff.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of collegiate football or athletic management experience or equivalent combination of positions or experiences in athletics administration or comparable organization.

Job Specific Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a collegiate football setting with direct recruiting experience.
  • Experience evaluating prospects and creating point of attack tapes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity and understanding of policy issues concerning the administration of intercollegiate athletics and higher education.
  • Ability to direct and perform confidential detailed work with accuracy under deadline pressure.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to interact with diverse department, University and community constituencies.
  • Mature and professional attitude and the ability to manage and direct multiple tasks at one time.
  • Working knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations is preferred.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Hudl, XOS, XOS Scout or the equivalent, and ability to integrate computer information technology systems into all aspects of the department’s affairs.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate potential recruits, manage offensive and defensive recruiting boards, create point of attack tapes, collect transcript and test scores on all priority recruits, monitor applicable social media, and organize on-campus recruiting events.
