Kemp and the Section 1135 blanket waiver issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the dept. is authorizing a temporary nurse aide training program. The temporary nurses aide will be involved with doing the following:
- Assisting the resident with eating
- Assisting with bed baths/showers
- Make beds
- Report to charge nurse anything going on with resident
- Complete an online exam following 8 hrs of training
- 2 hrs of supervised training
- Complete a skills check list
