We have a Contract assignment available with our client.

Position: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Skills: SQL, Cobol, cloud-native architecture, Git, Jira, and agile methodologies, micro services API

Responsibilities:

· Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed user stories, taking into account non-functional requirements.

· Create technical and infrastructure user stories to support software engineering and QA team members.

· Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.

· Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure that systems meet functional and performance requirements.

· Review test plans and provide feedback on testing methodology as needed.

· Create and maintain artifacts such as business process models, data mapping, use cases, and data flow diagrams.

· Analyze and document new and existing processes and workflows.

· Review COBOL programs and translate embedded business rules into specifications in English for development team members.

· Research data layout, data usage, and flow to gain expertise in new and existing systems.

· Prepares and maintains technical artifacts such as micro services API specifications and User interface specifications etc.

· Provide demo and training to end users on new features and enhancements.

· Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product owners to ensure proposed solution is delivered per requirements and with the required functionality.

· Mentor less experienced members of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 6+ years of experience in interpreting business needs and translating them into functional and technical specifications.

· Knowledge of COBOL is necessary to interpret embedded business rules and translate them for the development team members.

· Experience in pharmacy benefit manager.

· Ability to write simple to complex SQL queries.

· Previous experience in application development and/or system analysis role.

· Engineering degree, related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· A go-getter and self-motivated with proven results to get things done.

· Proficiency in SQL, Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, Git, Jira, and agile methodologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
