Job description
Team Leaders (TL) are shift leaders. Among their peers, they stand out for their product knowledge and operational know-how: executing service standards, food and coffee knowledge, maintaining policies and procedures.
Duties:
- Reports directly to Store Manager.
- Point-of-contact when Store Manager is not available on shift.
- Executes trainee orientation DAY 1 and coffee program orientation.
- Performs coffee training program to train baristas.
- Enforces company wide service standards.
- Provides exemplary customer service and assists in customer complaint resolution.
- Enforces opening/closing FOH duties.
- Key holder (opens/closes) the doors.
- First in and last out when opening or closing shift respectively.
- Leads FOH team on the floor by example executing: coffee bar, gelato scooping, cash register, sanitation functions.
- Reports shift details to the Store Manager and performs Shift Reports.
- Communicates stock on hand and notifies management of inventory concerns.
- Receives and secures store assets.
- Assists Store Manager with administrative functions: inventory, miscellaneous paperwork, nightly inventory, checklists enforcement.
- Makes recommendations and suggestions based on guest feedback.

Robb & Violeta had just landed in Buenos Aires, after an epic journey, which began in the Brazilian Amazon and finished 3 months and 4,000 miles later in São Paulo.
