The Teaching Services Specialist supports the Director of the Office of Professional Educator Services in the area of certification for both undergraduate and graduate teacher and school administrative programs.

• Provides customer service to current students who are seeking teacher or school administration certification.
• Provides customer service to candidates seeking information regarding alternate routes to teaching pathways.
• Collaborates with the School of Teacher Education Specialist on graduate certification applicants.
• Assists faculty, as needed with certification inquiries.
• Audits teacher education and school administrative certification applications to ensure compliance with the KY Education Professional Standards Board and KY statutes and regulations.
• Provides data entry into WKU and state-level databases.
• Supervises student workers, along with other Office of Professional Educator Services staff members.

Salary Range: $17.95 - $18.46/hr
