Stem Prep Academy is hiring Teachers. Hours are 12:30 pm-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

$500.00 sign-on bonus!!! (after 90 days)

RECEIVE 90% TUITION REIMBURSEMENT AFTER 1 YEAR AS AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION STUDENT PURSUING A MASTER, OR TEACHER CERTIFICATION. 4 WEEK PAID VACATION BREAKS, ACCESS TO DAILY PAY.

Candidates must:

Have a LOVE FOR STEM!!!

Bachelor's degree in education, or Bachelor's degree in any field with CDA or credits in early childhood education.

Have child abuse, criminal, FBI fingerprints, pediatric CPR/first aid, mandated reporter training, sex offender check, health & safety training, school personnel physical, TB test, or willing to obtain it along with additional required training.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create weekly lesson plans with teachers with provided curriculum map

Teach and interact hands on with students

Update parents and take pictures throughout the day and the end of the day on

bright wheel.

Complete quarterly progress reports

Give direct and one on one instruction throughout the day.

Manage stem hands-on learning activities.

Manage and facilitate play

Establish policies and procedures for inside and outside the classroom.

Become familiar with emergency procedures and protocols.

Clean and sterilize equipment, classroom, school, and toys daily.

Provide weekly schedules for children and parents.

Maintain order and cleanliness of your classroom daily, keep classroom decoarted, update monthly bulletins in classroom.

Collaborate with colleagues in preparing lessons and activities

Attend and participate in monthly meetings and trainings

Be a TEAM PLAYER

Be CREATIVE

Integrate special needs children in a respectful manner

Create arts and crafts with children

Discuss development with parents

Identify problems and convene with professionals if necessary

Participate in fundraising for the school

Promote literacy and early education

Job Types: Contract, Part-time
