We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The Tax Accountant is responsible for working closely and supporting the Tax Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, experience preparing and filing taxes, and the ability to analyze financial data. The successful candidate will be able to accurately prepare and file taxes for individuals, businesses, and trusts, as well as provide advice on tax planning strategies. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Keep up to date with changes in the tax laws and regulations.
• Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Prepare IRS taxing authority letters and notice responses.
• Manage and find tax solutions regarding client questions, outstanding tax issues, and internal matters.
• Advise clients on the best course of action for their particular situation. Colloborate and manage client relationships.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and complete tax research projects.
• Assist with year-end and general tax planning services.
• Other tasks as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
