Job description
Simplevenue is seeking a Task Force General Manager to assist with oversight with new and existing markets to assist in the opening of new projects, and roll out of special projects. This individual will also travel to these new projects, and oversee the rollout of new initiatives and openings. This role will be joining a company in high growth mode, and the chosen individual will be on the ground floor of exciting future opportunities.
Annual Salary: $80,000
Location: Candidate must be located in New York or New Jersey
Travel required: 50%
Job responsibilities and requirements:
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations and roll out of the assigned project with the guidance and direction of the Regional GM and COO.- This individual should be familiar with, and have taken part in, F&B openings in the past, and should have familiarity in working with Hotel Food and Beverage outlets
- This individual is expected to develop quick and accurate assessments of the assigned project and develop a strategic plan and timeline of completion on delivering measurable results relative to brand compliance, build out and set up needs, financial performance, customer satisfaction and company culture.
- This individual is responsible for ensuring key positions are filled with qualified and talented personnel, and to administer coaching and counseling to improve performance during the opening process
- This individual will be expected to identify issues at the venue, and assist in correcting those issues
- Our Task Force General Manager is a floating position that requires travel to assist on various projects during high demand periods and openings
- This position requires scheduling flexibility, and an ability to travel frequently
- A qualified candidate must have easy access to a major airport, but can live anywhere within reasonable distance to our markets
