Talent Acquisition Sourcer uses various channels to look for potential candidates, contacts passive candidates, and builds talent pipelines for future hiring needs. Solid networking skills, knowledge of how to source on social media, and enjoyment of learning about different roles, will make a candidate successful. Ultimately, the Talent Acquisition Sourcer will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our vacancies with qualified employees. The Talent Acquisition Sourcer may also manage its own requisition load during high requisition volume peaks.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field or Experience in Lieu of Education -
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years experience in Talent Acquisition with an emphasis on sourcing techniques, preferably in healthcare
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Advanced computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.Multicultural sensitivity.Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.Effective time management skills.Work may occasionally require travel to other Carle facilities/hospitals.
Essential Functions:
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, FB, networking events, etc).
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques.
- Responsible for tracking referrals from current employees and external networks; be the first point of contact.
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities.
- Build relationships and partnerships with talent acquisition team members system-wide to share in strategy, and best practices and consult on what you see in the market.
- Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, are interviewed, receives offers and begins position.
- Develop a method and maintain a pipeline of candidates for future hiring needs through establishing relationships with candidates & continuing to engage until they are hired.
- Represent Carle Health Community & School career fairs.
- Increase public awareness of Carle Health by maintaining high profile with community business, education institutions, representation on city and other professional associations and social activities on an ongoing basis. Participate in community outreach as a representative of Carle Health in the way of mock interviewing, resumes writing seminars, junior and high school presentations.
- Responsible for contributing to diversity initiatives at Carle Health.
- Counsel internal and external candidates on career opportunities, as well as training and development and avenues for growth.
- Promote our employer brand online and offline. Work in tandem with Marketing team(s) and TA Managers to ensure advertising focus is appropriate based upon areas of greatest need. Partner with Marketing to create marketing campaigns to attract specific talent groups. Helps with identification of individual areas, creative content development, deployment of campaign, and candidate engagement.
- Research creative recruitment strategies (e.g. social media, creative marketing, diversity outlets, ) to understand the best places to find the most qualified candidates, in the location they are looking for opportunities. Uses discretion and judgment to determine and put in place best practices for assigned regional recruitment.
- When directed, assist and manage assigned requisition load.
