The systems analyst works under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, to assist pharmacy staff and pharmacy administration with necessary system functionality and training.
- Performs all duties necessary to maximize functionality of the pharmacy information systems and the integration with other informatics systems in the facility.
- Serves as a technical resource.
- Facilitates training of pharmacy and/or other hospital personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have at least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Pharmacy Technician License, or ability to become licensed within 3 months.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard, interfaces, fax.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy processes.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and strong orientation to attention-to-detail.
- Self-Motivated.
