- Provide user account management for Pediatrics' users. This includes processing new AD accounts, deprecating old accounts, and managing updates. Role also involves managing UF Exchange email accounts.
- Participate with systems admin team pertaining to server and storage system builds, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- On Call Support. Various faculty and staff in Pediatrics work over the full 24-hour cycle; as such, the Department maintains an after hours technical support component. This position will be part of this on-call support team providing after hours end-user technical support. Support is provided remotely via phone or video, although a physical presence can occasionally be required. The on-call commitment typical ranges from 7-1O days a month.
- Position will be responsible updating and maintaining all departmental IT related documentation in our wiki-based IT documentation site. Documentation must be accurate, timely and user/audience specific.
- Assist the workstation management team with workstation management policies, image and software deployments.

$55,000-$68,238
Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Previous experience with UFHealth IT and UFIT preferred. Experience or familiarity with UFEM technologies is also preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with IT colleagues across the enterprise.
- Must possess a demonstrated track record of excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated proficiencies related to Windows Server OS and related technologies; MS Active Directory, DFS, Group Policy, RDS, IIS, PowerShell, windows imaging technologies.
- Ability to determine project requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application and integration problems and devise appropriate resolutions.
- Ability to evaluate workflows and strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Experience with various server and workstation/mobile operating systems (for example, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android). Experience with internetworking other operating systems.
- Experience in MSSQL, VMware vSphere, and VMware Horizon VDI is highly desired.
- User level familiarity with UF enterprise applications, including PeopleSoft and PersonHub.
