Position: OTM System Administrator
Location: The ideal candidate would be located close to one of our major offices in Canada or in the United States (we have a flexible / hybrid work policy)
Status: Permanent, full time (1)

We are currently looking for an OTM administrator who will play a key role in our Logistics team. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who has experience in configuring a TMS (ideally, Oracle Transportation Management - OTM). Reporting to the Director of Logistics, you will mainly be responsible of providing support to our internal users by being the main point of contact for all OTM inquiries. You will also be responsible of the system configuration and optimisation to meet the business needs.

Primary responsibilities:
Technical Support (40%) :

• Act as the first point of contact for all inquiries (Service Desk tickets) regarding OTM
• Support the design, testing, planning, and implementation of all changes to OTM
• Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and resolving day-to-day IT issues as they relate to OTM applications
• Provide on-going support, and training to personnel affected by OTM changes
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business unit(s), providing clear and transparent communication
• Assist end-users and troubleshoot OTM-related issues
• Provide support using Service Desk Tickets and procedures for tracking, user communication, and service level management
• Resolve product issues by opening, updating and escalating service tickets with Managed Services support teams

Configuration and maintenance (40%):

• Maintain rates and routes in OTM
• Interact with IT, and integration team on technical support and maintenance
• Manage and plan for quarterly OTM service release testing and upgrades and performs regression testing as required.
• Support core OTM as well as custom processes - core modules include Planning, Execution, Shipment Tracking, Finance
• Produce and maintain User and Technical documentation as required
• Perform application user management and administration including setting up new carrier in OTM by providing credentials and training

Continuous Improvement (20%):

• Develop guidelines and standards (e.g. integration concepts, agent development concepts, query concepts).
• Develop an in-depth understanding of OTM and the transportation needs of the business
• Identify and propose ways optimize and enhance OTM so that it meets business needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve gaps between business requirements and the software’s capabilities
• Create and update business process documents as they relate to OTM processes
• Participating in the Change Management Process, providing information regarding the consequences of changes, and supporting the completion of approved changes

Qualifications required to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or Computer Engineering or relevant professional experience
• At least 2 years of experience configuring a TMS
• OTM experience would be considered a great asset, including configuration, shipment management, rates, master data, bulk planning parameters, user configuration, screen set development, SQL queries, and working with CSV & XML files
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and priority management skills
• Learning agility, driven by results
• Excellent customer service skills, dedicated to provide the best service to support the internal team
• Experience in troubleshooting and willingness to fix issues quickly
• Openness to travel 10 to 20% travel as required for training, meetings, activities etc.
• Experience in Logistics would be considered an asset
• Certification in OTM or Oracle Certified OTM Cloud Specialist would be an asset
• Experience with OTM Mobility, Rate Management and Sourcing Module, PC Miler and SMC Rateware (On-prem as well as webservices) would be an asset
