Job description
The PBX Operator will answer the phone; place incoming calls & page codes/disasters immediately and professionally always using proper scripting. Must maintain confidentiality of information obtained on the job.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Skills: Auditory skills, effective verbal & communication skills, hand/finger dexterity, critical thinker, ability to type 30 WPM with high degree of accuracy
Requires ability to speak and hear clearly. Requires prolonged sitting.
Minimum Work Experience
3 months on the job training.
