Job Summary:

JWO is an equal opportunity employer, we are currently looking for a Salt Water Disposal (SWD) Attendant to join our growing team. The (SWD) Attendant will assist truck drivers in offloading their tankers, help keep the disposal in working order, and ensure a safe and clear work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Cleaning out SWD strainer and filter baskets on the pumps

· Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment

· Ensuring no hazardous materials are put into the disposal well

· Checking loads to ensure readiness for disposal

· Checking fluid levels of each tank and setting switches for maximum levels

· Reporting safety and environmental issues to management

· Completing required daily and monthly paperwork for skim oil and water collection

· Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to use power and hand tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Related experience preferred
• Vacuum truck experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Oil & gas: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
