Survey Assistant - Design
Job description
Perform a broad range of duties on a survey crew, such as:
Clearing brush
Locating monuments
Holding level rod
Setting stakes
Measuring distances
Taking notes
Making computations
Basic computer skills/drafting
Remove/replace manhole covers
Maintaining survey supplies
Other technically related specialties.
Must perform duties in a professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the road commission for Oakland County.
Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation.
Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.
Special Experience/Education
This job requires
A high school diploma or equivalent
Training sufficient to perform calculations and maintain records related to the work described above.
Must possess and maintain a valid state of Michigan driver license.
